Going to be fishing wg today how's the fishing been and weather. Have to wait Intel sportsmans is open or I would of been out there. Should of checked if I had my plugs and kayak seat before I left anchorage last night.

How was the halibut fishing? I just horse traded a bunch of my halibut and I need to get some more before they head to deeper waters...

Fishing relaxes me. It's like yoga except I get to kill something.

Well, since it was my first time there and I caught about a 20 pounder, I thought it was AWSOME! We learned quite a bit that trip as well.  The squatters are still there, btw, but kept a real low profile this time. We concluded that it seemed that they've been "spoken to".

Awesome!  A dressed halibut with the head off is typically 72% of the live weight.  So a 20 pound headed and gutted halibut would be 14.4 pounds headed and gutted.  I was in New Sagaya today and H&G halibut was selling for $12.99 per pound.  So if you were the average person buying that fish at New Sagaya, you landed a $187 fish!  Congrats!!!
