Harriet Lake is set to get some 2,000 8"ers and 666 16"ers sometime during this week. It's a motor-less 22 acre lake out in the Mount Hood region. Might be a zoo, but them's some good odds!

I'll be camping out there between Sunday, 9/4, and Tuesday, 9/6, looking to get my 16"er or two for the year. This is an open invite for NWKAers to join in! I'll be fishing in the mornings and afternoons; kicking around the camp and cleaning fish during midday.

Not sure if I'll have cell reception, so shoot me a PM if you'd like to meet up!

Massive invasive species invasion out in the woods that the State needs your help cleaning up? Haha.

haha! She knows better than that one! She honestly wouldn't care if I went I would just feel bad leaving them there when they only visit a few times a year... Maybe I can convince them to go for the day on Monday.

In-laws being such, they'd likely just as soon you not be around anyways.

We apparently showed up a half-day late and found out it's glacier/snow pack fed. Were biting in the morning, so they said, but then it got cold.

Water was 46 degs at surface by the time we got on it. Saw one fish caught between 20 anglers over 4 hrs. Monday AM was even colder so we bailed. Didn't want to turn into popsicles, haha.

Won't be going back outside of high summer. Live and learn. XD
