Oh yesterday was a good day for me. It started out slow waiting for my buddy to call me to let me know when he was going to be free to fish. Well he called around noon and said he couldn't get away. So I went with out him. Hit the Elwah and fished until about 4:00. The fishing Gods were good to me.  I caught 8 fish with 2 over 14". I tell ya there is nothing funner than to watch a trout rise to dry fly. Half of the fish I caught on a dry fly the other half on nymphys. A bead head green larvie seemed to be a good choice for a while. Then some brown scuds turned them on. I found that most of the time I couldn't catch more then one fish per fly. After I caught one I would go for a while with no hook up's. Then I would change flys, some times the same type just fresh and then catch fish. I wonder why. Any ideas. All in all a good day. I find it better then dealing with the tourist in town for the seafood fest. Although I will go and get something to eat later.Not much for crowds.

We may live without friends, we may live without books;
But civilized man cannot live without cooks
