How does everyone feel about adding a conservation section (political biology and fisheries conservation,  not red vs blue) section to the forum headings?
There are numerous issues that affect all of us as anglers, and it is difficult to access them through traditional news. Here in MT we have an ongoing battle over access issues of public v private waters, illegal fish introductions, etc.
If we had a general heading for this, with a subheading under each region, we could share and exchange information regarding these issues, at a national and local level.
I am not attempting to stir up a hornets nest, but these issues do effect us, and the future of our recreation.
How Des everyone else feel about this suggestion?

Hey Ned, There is a forum category called "The Environment and Politics of Fishing".  I believe that it will be visible to you once you've posted enough times.

We like to keep topics that can get emotional out of site until a member is vetted.   ;D

Spot,
Thank you. I understand the emotional aspect.
Out of curiosity, how many posts do I need? I hesitate to make meaningless posts just to qualify.

Spot,
on that same note, please don't hesitate to delete my original post if it was redundant.
