It's been quiet on here lately, here's some crab! What are you catching?

First time out crabbing from the kayak, I went to PC due to poor reports from the bays. This was Wednesday the 21st by the way, I am a little late posting this. haha

Pulled a limit with two pots in less than 45 minutes! I was surprised I got so many so quick. Not a single bite fishing while the pots were soaking. I'll have to master that another time I guess.

Burlap sack tied off and then dunked in the water will keep them guys from crawling off or getting ahold of your unmentionables

nice job, those look like some good clean crabs....I have spent several days recently catching sea-run cutthroats on a coastal lake with my best buddy up front, this is about a 14" SRC fresh in from the ocean...they hit trolled spinners like a ton of bricks and then dance all over the top of the lake trying to toss the hook...

I don't keep them there while paddling around, that was just during sorting while pulling my pots. I put them in the front hatch inside the kayak when I paddle in. Launching and Landing was like going out in a lake. Very little surf to speak of over by the rocks.

Nice! I used to fish the Alsea for sea-run Cutthroat years ago. Good fighting fish.

Nice way to get out fishing Roger, tell the boss, "got to walk the dog, see you later". By the way is there a dogs in kayaks forum? I just rescued an 85lb Irish Setter. I'd love to take him out but he seems a bit to big for my Outback.
