headed across to the top of the Maple Creek arm today, lost 2 adult coho and a jack but kept working the area and hooked this 30" buck that was ready to rumble.....

he made several power runs at the surface, then ran right back across the front of the Oasis, pulled me around a bit as I patiently I wore him down for an easy netting...same Worden's Vibric SST 1/2oz spinner that put 3 big coho in our PB last week..."bad boy": orange body, gold blade.  these are great coho spinners.  cheers, roger

Beauty! Catching a chinook in that lake has appealed to me ever since i started reading your reports many years back. Thanks again for sharing Roger!

Good Job. I fished around the outlet the day after i we messaged last. Didnt get a bite or see any fish. Everyone there said "You should have been here yesterday", so I assumed they moved into the arms. Might head over there Sunday. I fished Tahkenitch a couple days ago and caught a nice jack on the Fivemile arm.

Heres my Siltcoos buck from last friday

shiny fish, I love how each of the lakes have a few of those "should have been here yesterday" days each year, they are sweet days when you hit one...

Nice ling, it's kind of crazy to catch those things so far up river, eh? My biggest out of there is 35".

you have lots of hours on an i11s- you know how these things glide around on the water real easy?  I hooked her just off one of the pillings and she really wanted to get back to the base of that structure; I thought that was a bad idea, and as much as kicking my drag up to "stop a chinook" setting helped, I also had to use the Mirage drive and rudder to pull away enough that, well she ended up disappointed...it wasn't so much that I thought it out like that as it happened, I just acted as things developed...what a blast.

Yeah, I've lost what felt like some very big fish near those structures. Something turned me around against the current and ended up rubbing the leader off against the pylons. This happened on a couple different trips out there.
I'm glad you landed your fish! The i11s is no joke.
