Sweet, that sounds like a perfect chance to test paddle my new kayak.  What time do you want to meet up?  I'm thinking a nice unprotected beach break would be best.

I'm thinking that I should launch here in Portland tomorrow morning, paddle down the Willamette and then the Columbia.  I should make it to Astoria by late evening and over the bar around sunset.  From there I'll paddle down to  Tillamook Head by 3 am Saturday to meet the you Jay.
