bouncy bungee - makes 'em easy to shake loose?

It is a section of bungee cord and it is to allow the pin to come up faster than the weight when I yank to free the fish, so that the fish come free just a bit easier. It has more stretch than a section of mono. A section of surgical tube or an old spear gun band would accomplish the same thing.
