You could encase some tungsten and maintain your "lead free" status. I bet glass would make a wicked rattle if you put some beads inside a cavity of a plug. Going back to x-mas gifts you could put jingle bells in your ornamental lures. Give a rappala style lure a santa hat, beard and jingle bells or a Rudolph red nose and antlers. $$$$$.
