I know that the fishing is minimal due to the high salinity, but does anyone have any experience paddling on Lake Abert?  You know, that big ol' body of water in southern Oregon?  A buddy and I were thinking of heading down there for a spring paddle trip, but we can't find a lot of info on relevant conditions.  So does anybody have any first hand know-how?  It's a big lake, very scenic, and seems ripe for some expedition style paddling.  PM me if this is treading on your sacred paddle ground....
