Hi NW Kayak Anglers!  My family and I recently moved from Connecticut to the Seattle area.  I've been kayak fishing for about five years and spent most of that time hunting Stripers and Bluefish on Long Island Sound.  I look forward to learning about new species here in the PNW.  I live in Issaquah and there are plenty of lakes nearby.  I'd love to find some saltwater too.  It's always been my preference, but I'm not sure where to start here.  I hope to learn a lot on this forum.

Connecticut, huh?  Spent some time in Groton a long time ago and liked the area.

Welcome to the Pacific Northwest and to NWKA.

Lots of folks up your way who'll surely let you join up with them.  Our saltwater ain't like East Coast saltwater, and I'm looking forward to you telling us how different it is.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Thanks Tinker.  Long Island Sound is a great fishery and the adjoining rivers are perfect for kayak fishing.  I was new to kayaking when I started fishing there, so it took me a while to get up to speed.  I'm hoping to "catch on" more quickly here.
