Last I talked to him he managed to pull up two with powerbait.

I came home with 3, had another one out of the water but flopped off before I could grab it - all caught on powerbait - I have a small anchor which helps.  Started and ended trolling with no luck - one good strike but didn't connect... I had a difficult time keeping my lures clear with all the debris... Bank fishers seemed to have more luck than anyone on the water.

Glad I went.  My kayak was looking too dry after several months of sitting...

Thanks @hdpwipemonkey for the launch recommendation - good spot for a kayak launch and nice not to have to deal with boat traffic...

Today would've been a good day (at least weather wise.) Unfortunately too many chores. Saving my get out jail free card for another day.
