Hey everyone. New guy here. Lurking around. New to the South Coast of Oregon. New to the Ocean and big rivers. Experienced mostly on lakes and stream fishing. The wife and I recently purchased a couple of Hobie Outbacks to replace our old yaks and still getting our gear together to get out on the big water. Any info on equipment would be much appreciated. Still researching on radios and dry v. wet suits so I can become more than a fair weather fisher :). In the mean time I am trying out the springers on the Rogue.

Cheers
TK

Welcome in!

There are thousands of word here about safety and gear, and lots of collective information when you want to start asking questions.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Welcome.

+1 for the Dry Suit, much more comfortable.  Not only for immersion but just fishing in the rain.
