Elliott Bay Blackmouth Derby (Tengu) Starts this Sunday

One of the really old derby's starts this Sunday, here in Seattle.  It runs every Sunday through December 21 from 7-11am.  No tackle other than banana lead sinker and herring -- no downriggers either-- pretty much a mooching sort of derby.

Tickets for the derby are $15.  Headquarters for the derby is the Seacrest Boathouse in West Seattle but tickets can be had at Linc's Tackle Shop and Auburn Sports and Marine.

Nice to know there's always fishin close by!

Hmm, I've been wanting to fish this for years. Janni and I are headed over to Seattle Sat. evening, so maybe we'll give it a shot (weather dependent).
