So I'm looking for some wheels for a kayak cart that a buddy of my welded up for me.

I have the narrow ones that were on an old crappy cart that I am using right now.  They work good for gravel and pavement but here in May I will be in need of some wider ones for beach launching/landing.  I have been scouring CL and offer up looking for a free riding lawnmower just for the front wheels,  or a powerwheels car,  or one of those old pedal 3 wheelers that kids use.  All of those would probably work.

My budget just can't quite afford the Wheeleeze ones that are used on hobies.

The axel is 1/2" diameter.  6" long.  I live in Lacey so the closer the better.

Thanks guys.
Will trade oral favors for fish.

These might work?  They're for a 3/4" axle, but you may be able to use some sort of sleeve to fill the space.  https://www.harmonygear.com/products/14675/Harmony-Pneumatic-Beach-Tire-Upgrade-Pair.html

Have you checked out the assortment of wheels at Harbor Freight.   They have many to choose from including ones with bearings and "never go flat" style.  Very reasonable prices.

Yeah i went by there last week.  All they had were wheelbarrow wheels.  Which arent any wider than what i have.

Well that's disappointing.... I was thinking pictures and a story of someone curling in a wave on the way back in to the beach, ass over plastic  >:D  Barbie keep wheels or any other power wheels tires, work great for beach coolers too.

I have been on the look out for some free powerwheels....still nothing.  they would be ideal. Nice and light and i could fill them with spray foam and then coat the outside with flexseal and they would be pretty solid.

Have you checked places like ReStore.    The one close to where I live has odd wheels in a bin.

Look for golf cart wheels, like the wheels you strap to the bag.

How about using Harbor Freight wheelbarrow wheels as "dualies".

Goodwill stores?

Harbor freight will bring them in if they're not on the shelf.  Look also for wheels from a cheap hand truck - they had them with fat pneumatic tires at Wally-World for $20 for a while.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Look on Offerup and search for power wheels.  There are tones for $20.  There is one set of just wheels of an F-150 power wheels for $15.  You would have a spare set or could sell the other two for 7.50 and be good to go.
