I found lots of good sized crabs between the submerged jetties (cribs), took 9 hard shelled home and let 6 more keepers go that were a bit soft shelled, had 2 pots in the water for 3 hours through the low slack tide...this area is out of the main channel and easy to crab/fish even when the tide is moving strongly...the Hobie Oasis is a great platform to crab from, I use a 'lift and roll' technique to easily get full pots onto the boat, a good example of that at 2 minutes...

not much of a bottom fish bite on yesterday but I managed a nice black and a smaller copper. I missed a big ling bite that when I tried to set the hook, took the plastic clean off a 4oz LancerJig (need to order some replacement blue/silver plastics from them), missed the CoosBay hat-trick by that much...cheers, roger

Nice haul! Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it. After getting no keepers at Tillamook Bay last weekend I'm sufficiently jealous and motivated to get out again.

Nice Roger!  Looks like the water was a bit flatter than when we were there last weekend.

yes, especially at low slack, it got smooth as glass for an hour or so.

I'm not sure what the tide was doing while you were out there, did you see the rip current that goes around the big green '7' channel marker?  other than the obvious "don't get dragged into or over the rocks", I consider that rip current, especially  when the ebb tide is moving, to be the main concern for small boats in that area...
