August 21, 2017 - Depoe Bay Blackout - 10:15am

Don't try to get a place in Huntington. Every rental has been rented since last year by universities and the high school is charging for tents on the football field. They are expecting tens of thousands of people there. Should be fun. I might be out on Brownlee catfishing during the event. That would be pretty cool.

I've got family in Payette. Very likely I'll be around. Gotta stake out a spot on shore, not sure where yet.

Post up or message me if you make it out. I live in Vale and I can usually get "end of the world days" off. Or I drag up for a day. Same deal.

I'm not going anywhere near the coast during the eclipse window.  You think traffic is nuts in Portland....

Argh.....eclipse talk!  I'll be in my motorhome in Gleneden Beach for 4 days so I don't have to drive all the way to Depoe Bay!
