If anyone is interested will be testing Trout lake in Auburn/Federal Way Sunday AM about 8 AM for crappie and bass.  Looking for a local lake to take a non-fishing friend and his son out, more fish is better than big for the first outing.  It's a small lake (less wind) and there's a WFD launch site.  I'll be in a white camo trident 13 if anyone wants a little local lake outing. Have not fished it before but the WFD gives it a green dot for fish this time of year and their forecasts are always spot on:-)

I see you might come from Bothel, remember I've not fished here before and am testing it as a site to take a youngster fishing for his first time.  Can't guarantee its worth the drive.  That said, here's a picture of the small launch area with the address on it. It case it doesn't show, it's 4333 S 376th St., Auburn WA on Google.

Here is the WFD link http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/washington/182/

Nice little lake with a few nice LITTLE fish but not one I'd return to.  Not even a good place to practice re-entry
