Last Pacific City rockfish trip for 2107

Didn't keep any of the fish, caught a smaller legal ling, a couple blacks and a couple Canaries.
Wandered about looking for my crab trap, took home 10 nice crabs.
The ocean was a nice as I've seen it for a while.

Looked like great conditions again today.  Aren't you glad you were kayak fishing and not participating in a surfing competition. When I watched the live camera it looked like a lake on a calm day.

I tried something different and caught all but 1 Black on one of my freshwater bass rods with a spinnerbait.

Where were you fishing the spinnerbait?  Did you find the rockfish near the surface?
