Had at least 12 coho and 1 chinook to the boat on Sunday on a C&R scouting trip. Non-internet kayak friend had similar results.

Fish hard.

I'm fully prepared to drive almost three hours from home north of Monroe this weekend to try to replicate that success rate....

I'm fully prepared to drive almost three hours from home north of Monroe this weekend to try to replicate that success rate....

I peddled 9mi Saturday trolling get a feel for the river and good spots, hooking three. Switched strategies to my normal commercial-style seek and destroy strategy looking for schools in spots I thought they might hold and eventually found some and we were able to stay on top of them for ~2 hours. Still peddled around 7mi for the day . Don't waste your time fishing where they're not at try to stay on top of them when you find them. They show themselves. It really isn't that hard - fishing time management 101 really.

Fish hard.

Fish hard.
