Am I the only one to get federal holidays off?  If not, does anyone want to do some fishing next Tuesday on Veteren's Day?  My wife and son don't get the day off so I'm free.  I'm not sure what I want to fish for yet, but I'm considering sturgeon right now.

Sounds like fun... wish I could break away mid-week. Any chance of getting a weekend any time soon?

No chance of getting away this weekend and an outside chance at either of the following two weekends but probably not both.  Thanksgiving weekend is out I'm sure.  My friend Jim "InSeine" Hobbs should be in town in early December for a meeting and I'll be out fishing a day or two then for sure.

I usually ride my Harley in a parade but it looks like rain will be likely so maybe fishing is in order.

We're still catching some chrome Fall chinook high up on the Yaquina.  Could do some coho in Siltcoos or Takanich.

What parade is that? I'm always looking for an excuse to get some quality time on the Harley Davidson.
Weather somewhat permitting...

I don't know what's going on here yet.  Searching the paper and there's nothing.  I always rode over in Albany when I lived there.

I'm bumping this to the top because it looks like I'll be staying at home and doing some yard work in the rain if no one else wants to go fishing.   :'(

Thanks Jay, it's good to know that you'll be with me in spirit as I set about raking my yard.  Maybe I'll take the day to organize my tackle a bit better and do a full service job on some of my reels.

I'd be up for a fishing trip if I wasn't working.  Earning a living does have it's benefits, but can also get in the way of having fun.  Hope you go and enjoy it - Alan

Looks like I'll have to build some WAF on my day off and try and cash it in this coming weekend.  Anyone up for a dino hunt on the Willy this weekend?

I'm out until Thanksgiving Friday, Sunday and the following Monday. I REALLY want to try out my new-to-me old home made glass rods on the dino population.

No fishing on the Oregon Coast today, or much of anything else for that matter. Heavy rain and BIG wind gonna keep all but the hardiest souls off the water.
