Since it's beautiful outside again today and I'm stuck in the hospital all day, I EXPECT many excellent reports of fish caught today from all of you out there...   ;D

Yeah, I'm stuck cleaning the garage today.  So looking forward to some good reports.  Sunny and warm down here in San Jo today.

I'm looking forward to the reports also as long as they're not from kykfshr!    8)

I really enjoy fishing with him but he's waaaaaay too close in the AOTY for comfort.   :-\

I've been spending the last few days reteaching my eyes how to focus.   Just got Lasik on Thursday morning.  Being farsighted from birth, my eyes are used to cranking in the lens to get 20/30 without glasses.  Doc said that was amazing that my eye muscles could still do this at 37 years old.   Lasik done on farsighted folks is not as easy as near sighted folks.  They have to shape the cornea to have more of a crown, vs shaving down the crown.  This = more tissue removed, and a definite chance my cornea will revert or try to revert back to a flatter position.  Turns out my operation was an overshot (no Lasik is 100% accurate), and I am basically near sighted at the moment.  F'n weird for sure!

Before I couldn't see well up close trying to tie hooks, leaders and lures - but I could just about see foot prints on the moon  ;D.
Now, I can't make out the words on a street sign 50 yards out, but I can read the fine print written on a flea's turd.  ::)

Going back Monday to see how my minor inflammation is doing.  I hope my cornea relaxes soon and gives me the vision I need to drive.   Don't get me wrong, I can see way clearer now than I did without glasses, but nowhere as near when I had glasses or contacts.

At this point, I'd be hard pressed to make out images on my fish finder in the yak.  :o
No fishing for me for a bit.

Sorry to hear you won't be there tomorrow. May I suggest a change in reading material???? ;)
