PC was a bit sporty today but very nice outside.  Crabbing sucked as expected, but fishing was great as usual.

Here’s a shot from tonight after sunset, pretty flat.

The gal from state parks (who does a killer job keeping the area limited to boats and yaks) gave me a really nice laminated permit for the season!

Thanks for the reports guys, much appreciated!  Looking forward to bagging a pair of lingers tomorrow if the salmon aren't around.

It was a little bumpy at Depo on the way out this morning but flattened out nicely. The bite was pretty good. After tossing back lots of mid sized lings I managed to bring home a 30” and a 37”. It was so much fun that I’m going back in the morning. The only down side was that I stashed my wheels in the rocks by the ramp and they were no longer there when I returned. They were a cheapo set that I’ve had for a long time but still a bummer.

That sucks about your wheels.  What time are you headed out tomorrow?

My plan is to be there at 6:30, and to launch soon after if the bar is not restricted again. The tide was really low this morning and the bar was Restricted until around 7:00.
