Leaving in the morning and open to all suggestions on what to do after clamming. May go to the first for morels ? Idk? Should I leave the yak home? Any crabbing around Astoria maybe? Ocean is out from what forecasts say. Maybe do some perch fishing? Anyone?

Not sure about Astoria but you’d have to do a predawn launch at 0500-0530 in Tillamook Bay to get out to fish the south wall and crab.... and no I’m out, slowly moving storage, if you make it into seaside for dinner at Fin’s and my sons working (bar Mngr) say hi! Don’t mention me our he might charge ya double!!  :spittake: good luck and post up a follow up.

Surf perch from the bank is a good option in that area
