Just a heads up that the Northwest Paddling Festival is happening this weekend at Lake Sammamish State Park.  For anyone looking to demo and compare different model kayaks, SUPs or canoes, this is the one event you don't want to miss.

Friday 2p-7pm
Sat 10am-5pm

To demo, you sign a waiver and pay $10 for a wristband.  That allows you to demo all day long.  Bring your Discover Pass (you'll need it to park at Lake Sammamish State Park).  There are some great seminars, kayak races and food trucks.

I'll be doing a seminar on kayak fishing, rigging and targeting various species of fish in our local waters.  That kicks off at 11:30am on Saturday.
