It has been awfully quiet here about getting the shiny buggers on the Willamette. Anyone even getting out and trying?

According to the Willamette fish counts site, there are about 12,000 over the dam for us upper Willamette folks. My son did some recreational floats at McIver Park on the Clackamas last weekend and said they spotted some big fish in some of the tailouts. I bank fished Barton Park on the Clackamas yesterday and saw neither hide nor hair of a fish. Talked to an ODFW guy who said it's been "slow" there.
