I'm on the road right now, so I don't have a picture of the actual fly, but it was similar to these, except green on top.  It was probably 4" long.  I was actually targeting rockfish when I caught the ling.  These are tied with EP fibers.  They have consistently been working pretty well.

she has no issues.  a big reason why our kayak fishing partnership works is that she has figured out when it's important to stay down on the rear deck, like when I am taking things seriously or I move forward to my knees to land a fish or pull a crab pot.

Thanks for the second video, Roger.  I don't know whom I envy more: you with Pepper behind you or Nobaddays with a fly-caught lingcod.  Now if I could only teach Parker to stop chasing after my fly line, I might try doing both.  Ha, ha, hardy-har, ha!  Never going to happen with that pup.
