Hi There!

Hi there!  Thank you for adding me to this forum. I am both new to NW saltwater fishing, and also new to kayak fishing! I will be putting my Hobie PA14 into the waters around Victoria BC, and hope to land a few salmon, ling cod, and maybe even a halibut or 2. I am a recent transplant to Vancouver Island life, and also enjoy gardening and woodworking. I look forward to learning a lot from this experienced group of anglers! (I grew up fishing for Pickerel, Pike and bass in Manitoba!)  So far, I have been stocking up on trolling and mooching tackle, with a good bit of Shimano and Daiwa equipment. We will see how it goes. Hope to get out and start fishing soon. My first challenge is to figure out how rig my kayak for storage on our deck, which sits next to the water.  Thanks for reading!
