Another rainbow !!  One bite  from 2:30  till 5 pm.  Came on small rapala .
     Really nice day at the lake, spur of the moment paddle. Water was 47 to 51 deg , warm in coves. Tryed for, bass but no takers.
     Marked fish all over the west  arm at 38- 40 ft, didn't get down there but will next time. maybe drift something at 30 ft.

Thanks CBY,, just finished munching one side of that one,, very good.  I can't eat a fresh plante r but this hold over ,2 years proably, was tastey !!

Very nice rainbow! I've fished Eel lake many times, but the last time was awhile ago (approximately 25 years ago). Reading the posts from those of you in the Coos Bay area brings back many great memories! Coos Bay was the homeport of the Coast Guard Cutter Citrus that I was stationed on during part of my enlistment.
Once I adjusted to the rain there, I quickly learned that I had been sent to fishing paradise. A trip down there is high on my list for this year.
