Too bad the transducer is the size of a football.
Too bad that with the very wide angle of the scan there is no "shoot through hull" transducer mounting option.

It is fantastic for fishing on fairly shallow lakes and reservoirs with lots of structure, but a fishinder it ain't.  Fish echoes are tiny and not very distinct, and it ain't much use deeper than 100 feet. Best use is finding sunken boats and airplanes...  the Humminbird 3-D is more useful, and a lot less $$.   I have a Humminbird Matrix 97 combo, very happy with it, good size screen and nice rez in color.   First non-Lowrance unit I've had since teenage years. Sigh.....
