Today Montana's Governor Steve Bullock issued a directive requiring everybody to stay at home to limit the spread of COVID-19 except when engaged in "essential activities." Section I(5) of the directive classifies outdoor activities, which surely includes kayak fishing, as an "essential activity." I intend to take full advantage of this essential activity.  And for those of you who live in less enlightened states, I say "Neener Neener Neener!"

The text of the governor's directive is available at https://covid19.mt.gov/Portals/223/Documents/Stay%20at%20Home%20Directive.pdf?ver=2020-03-26-173332-177&fbclid=IwAR1Hgulra3GNrvFFZQBgRWJK1ig4fw48SUl51eo-PVDZ9JoHYVnk0Iu7I9s.

Roll out the welcome mat. Everyone from Washington who would like to go fishing should travel to Missoula, MT.  >:D

The difference between Montana fly fishing and Washington combat fishing.
