assuming conditions hold out (weather and swell), I am down to go out tomorrow at either place.  More interested in bottom fish, but planning on bringing salmon gear too.  Thinking about a crab trap, but I would prefer to do my first crabbing in a bay where it is more protected and I can get the hang of it better so will probably leave the crab traps at home.
Look for days wit a LOW tide between 0800 and 1100 we launch Tillamook bay 2 hours before low, if I’m available I’ll take you out and show ya the area, bring trout rod and smaller rockfish gear.

No one missed anything out of PC today. Complete washing machine, NOAA ocean forecast made it seem a lot more friendly. It was more like 15kt winds from the South, wind waves were easily 2'@3 second with an occasional bigger swell also from the south. Still went out and tried for an hour or so. One black while salmon trolling. Called it with the dory boats by 9am.

So forcast has changed to 2ft swell @ 6 sec + 5-10knt winds.  That seems like it may be a little too bumpy, would you tend to agree?

What do folk think about Saturday. Never like conditions looking less favorable in subsequent days. Would go tomorrow except for a Dr. Appt  Nice haul, BTW.
