Tillamook bay Thursday July 23rd

Looking to hit the bay with cjweinhe and his kid. So meet in the lot around 0700 thus will be a clam on the way out, drop crab pots at the jetty and harass the rockfish. Post up if you got any gear questions... open invite.

Not going to lie, the clamming was stellar we all got limited fairly easily, dropped the pots and could not get the damn sea bass to bight anything! Not that I was trying anything except what pulled my 25 inch lingcod Out of the rocks!  Funniest thing is I wasn’t even concentrating on fishing, I was talking to TLW on the phone and first thought I snagged the rocks till my pole started hurling back hard. Ended up with some good crabs, couple of really decent sized ones!

Nice job on the Ling!!! I have not ever caught a keeper fishing these jettys. Bet that was a blast! Glad to see crabbing was still okay too
