I was looking over a map recently and saw this bay but it looks pretty shallow. I know people catch crab there but is there any other fishing? It looks pretty well protected too.

Not really any other fishing of note.  There are some pile perch to catch but thats about it (I am sure there may be a flounder or two out near the mouth but thats just a guess). The bay does not have a jetty or other structures that would hold rockfish or lings.   There is a fish hatchery on the bay, but the bay is closed to all salmon and steelhead fishing. Its mostly known for its crabbing and clamming.  It can be  protected but also gets rough (more than you would think) with a decent blow.  The very back of the bay is protected and a fun paddle.  Probably one of the best clamming bays on the entire coast. A yak will get you into some really neat areas as the bay is quite shallow

Thanks for the update. That explains why I've never heard any reports of anything except clams and crabs.
