Spent a few hours roping dinosaurs at Jurassic Park. Good numbers of fish in there and really enjoyed the balmy 58 F start to the day which contrasted markedly from 17 F day I had at home just a few days prior. Squid was the ticket.

Well that was fun to watch!  What PFD are you wearing?  I'm looking for a new one and it looks like yours has nice pockets and a good place to mount your knife.

Thanks so much!  I've been ill for weeks, I think due to a vitamin D deficiency --super exhausted all the time.  Got a Dr appointment on the 10th.  If they get me figured out, I'll definitely check out Swan Island.  I've fished there before during heavy freezing rain.  I think it was February and I put in at the St. Johns Bridge.  I was primarily out for an adventure and the current was so strong it was a struggle to get to the shipyard basin.  I half-halfheartedly fished for a short while and retreated.  I only recently learned that sturgeon from the Willamette Falls area (at least some) also move further down the Willamette in winter.  Maybe I'll see you there some day. I've got a yellow Ocean Kayak 13 ft and Kokitat dry suit.  If I get a "Lure Angler" I'll choose a bright color.  Thanks again.
