Good job, Jed!  You scored catfish and an article in a national publication.  I think that fits the definition of a two-fer.  Nicely done.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

I can verify the road hazard aspect of 1000's of crickets on the highway.  We'd get a similar migration every year around Fort Hood when I was stationed there

Never thought of using large bodied crickets for catfish bait.  Does make,sense though..... still...... back in a,bit. Have an idea......

And, Jed, hope you weren't in the dog house for long.
