Great weather, smooth water and we did not get skunked.   No keeper dino's, but we did manage to catch some.

BTW - AMB made it out with us as well.

Brian started the ball rolling with what looks like a 36 incher.  I ended up with two that were maybe 24-26 inches each.

I am no longer a "Sturgeon Virgin".   :headbang:

Here are the pics I shot of Brian's catch.

Brian has a thing for 36 inch Sturgeon...

This one was 36 in fork length, so only about 2 inches short.  One of these days I'll get a legal one.

Nice report! Love the pics.. living vicariously as I'm stuck behind the desk all day and night for the next two days. So what was the magic bait of the day?

Squid and smelt.

Here are a few photos, including one from my new vanity mount (gorilla pod on my rod holder).

Thanks bsteves and insayn for some fun sturgeon fishing.  Great photos guys.  It was a great day, good weather, easy current, and the obligatory PB question "What are you fishing for?"  "From THAT?"  It was a lot of fun, and definitely worth another try.  We gotta lock in on some keepers!
