Yes, the Mistress of disappointment 😥

Headed there later this week for the first time in my new kayak.
Any and all tips and advice for fishing this high pressure puddle welcome.

Years ago I had fun jigging up perch at the dam wall.

I still haven't caught a bass.
Just going up for the afternoon with my neighbor. He is in a canoe.

I was just out there on Friday. That lake is horrible for a good day of fishing.

I think I marked a few perch balls right in the middle (deepest point) of the mouth of the inlet that is between Tanner Creek and Boat Ramp A (Eagle Point).

Otherwise, one stupid trout nearly to the yak.

The cruel mistress lived up to her name Tuesday. Went out with a friend on his powerboat stillwater flyfishing.  Closest we got was a trout looking at my strike indicated (a float in normal world).  There were 3 yak fishermen out there.  The one in the picture caught one! Early afternoon they stocked it.

It was a busy for us Thursday.
Not a nibble, nudge nor a follow.
It was nice to be out there.
