Hi all, I have tomorrow off (Monday, June 20) and looking to get in the salt.

I've only been out a few times to PC. Forecasted swell at 6AM in PC is 2-4 feet ( 2ft@14 sec WNW 290deg, 3 ft@7 sec NW 310deg, 1.5 ft @11 sec WNW 287deg). Winds 5-7 mph early and building through the day.  Thinking if I got out at first light, probably a doable day for a few hours of rockfishing?

I also have a powerboat that I might take to Depoe if PC seems a bit dicey.

Thanks,
Tim

Great! I'm in a maroon Honda Pilot and have a blue Hobie Compass.  You guys planning to troll for salmon too?

Thanks,
Tim

initial plan is to drop pots, troll for salmon, then try for lings/rocks and get off the water before the wind picks up.

Family responsibilities took priority and I had to miss it.

It was a little sporty. Windier than expected. We couldn’t get salmon to bite, got our limits of black rocks, one ling each, and only one crab for two pots.

Safely out, safely in. Another great day at PC!
