Hit Pass Friday afternoon, couldn't ask for better conditions:  sunny, little to no wind, water has warmed up to low 40's, and I had the lake to myself.  Just one thing missing...Fish!

Tried a variety of flies, techniques, and depths, nothing seemed to work.  Don't know what it is about this lake but for me it is either smoking hot or stone cold lifeless.  So far all my trips up there this year have been a skunking.

However, it was so nice to fish in some warm sunshine and see those blue skies.  Surely spring can't be too far away.

Thanks for the report SC. Yeah, those skunks are always there, nothing much we can do about them. But sounds like it was a nice day on the lake none the less.
