This piece is hiding in the middle, so it's hard to see in the final pictures.

It was really fun to make it look like a charred piece of split wood. It started as a slightly rusty piece of 2" x 2" angle iron.

I was in an "artsy fartsy" mood and just went with it.
So, this was my first attempt at making a set, and didn't realize how expensive they were commercially before I started.  I got to looking online at what is available out there.

They aren't worth THAT much, and especially not since you didn't craft them with your very own hands.  I wouldn't insist on the same level of artsy-fartsy details you got into, and I was asking about them tongue-firmly-in-cheek - but if you ever have rejects hanging around, let me know, because, damn! those are sweet.

Some of those commercially made logs are crazy priced.

I don't have plans at the moment to start a production run, but it is nice to know that family and friends have instantly lined up with the desire to own some hand fabricated INSAYN Steel Fire Logs.
