My battery weights 14lbs. I used waterproof handgun case for enclosure. I started building a smaller battery that will fit into central compartment and I can take it out to pond without fearing of loosing it during garage sale. Also, I plan on running all of my cabling inside of kayak and have quick connectors for throtlle controller and motor itself so it should be very clean setup. Yes, the adapter was fabricated from scratch.
