Because I no longer have a kayak, but... there's a kayak up around Bellingham I'd like to buy if I can find someone who might be headed south into Oregon and kind-hearted enough to volunteer to bring it along.

It's a 12-foot OK Tetra.

Going to ORC?  That would work.

Headed south on I-5?  I can meet you alongside the highway. Anywhere from Portland to Roseburg.

Let me know if you're The Kind Of A Person Who'd Give Tinker A Hand, please.

it's a l-o-n-g shot, but I figured it can't hurt to ask.  Thanks, Dan.

Tinker:  I’m the guy who bought your OK T13 several months ago.  Glad to hear your doing better.  All that extra gear you threw in with the kayak is still sitting in a pile in my shop.  I only really wanted the yak so if you would like to reclaim that stuff let me know.  Going to try and PM you.

Gee, if I wanted that stuff cluttering up my garage, I wouldn't have given it to you.  Perhaps you could put it in a box and sell it all together?

I didn't make a miraculous recovery.  I'm in remission for now and it's anyone's guess how long it might last, but thank you, I appreciate well-wishes.

And thank you for offering to offload that stuff back onto me.  Despite my snarky response above, I honestly have no further use for it.  I can paddle (I hope) but I don't think I'll be doing much fishing from a kayak for a long time.
