Happy New Year!

Anyone fishing today?  I might try going out for a bit this afternoon.

I bought my new license, but that is about as close as I will get today

Tomorrow I go to buy my license and evasive species license, I mean "tag". Even though 2023 sucked , I feel like there is a steelhead with my name on it out there somewhere. The kayaks have spider webs on them.

Is that for fish you can't get to commit?   

I didn't get out, but bought my license.  Off tomorrow so I might give it a shot if it's not too windy.

The salmonids I hoped to catch yet failed to last year.

Went crabbing yesterday at Netarts and picked up 24 nice ones.  Licenses have already been paid off.
