I've been spending a lot of time in Eugene and Springfield lately, usually with a few hours on my own between other business.  I've started thinking I could use my free time fishing, possibly in the McKenzie, but, since I don't know the area...

If anyone has experience and tips about the McKenzie - or recommendations to visit other streams - could you please pass them on?

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.
