Neah Bay fishing report

Probably the best fishing trip to Neah Bay to date.

Hoku Lau started things off with a nice halibut in shallow water. I called it about a minute before he hooked up 😆

Fished 2 days on the kayak mainly for flounder and rocks. Scored 2 fat starry flounder and a bunch of regulars. The fog was super dense and navigation was interesting. Tom McNamara and I heard some strange sounds (Bigfoot) coming from Waddah.

Fished 2 days on Nick Wetterlind's brand new boat which is very broke in now 🤣 Whenever I get on a boat I go into commercial fishing mode. I wanted to target pacific cod and landed over 20 in 2 days as well as halibut and a stupid amount of coho. I even got to watch Nick fight a keeper size rock from 300fow😂

Hong Long was the champion of the trip catching 3 halibut from his kayak in 3 consecutive days. He definitely had them dialed in.

The coho fishing was so good even I caught some. I let my gopro run for 11 minutes and it contains 5 fish landed and a couple missed fish.

Stryker Rods & Blanks CT1045 for the coho, LSW662 for the deep bottom fish, and K662 for everything else.

Can't wait to do it again.

Good job man, sounds like a blast!
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?
