Magic Seaweed has Friday at 5 ft swells and wind under 5mph. However, the high tide is around 7am, and it goes to a minus tide about 2:30pm. If the conditions hold, I'll try to make it down in the morning depending if I have to work the night before. How's the fishing on outgoing tides? I have always been there on incoming tides.

Looks like about an 8 ft tidal swing with a slight minus tide each evening  :icon_cheers:

It looks like I'll be getting off work between 3 and 3:30 and hitting the freeway southbound. 4-5 hours you say? Let's find out for sure  ;D

I'm pretty much ready to fish salt, salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, trout, bass or anything else that decides it would prefer my cooler and BBQ to the cold water. The only thing I haven't loaded is fly gear.

Looking forward to meeting the crew down south.

Good luck and be safe.. As of this AM the ocean looks a little grumpy (swells with sheep on top as far as the eye can see) here on the north coast (Netarts).

That's what I like to see. I'm heading out the door and hitting the highway south.  Be there in a few hours. Save some of those fishies for me....
