Hi everyone! Im trying to understand more about reading wave/wind conditions and wondering if this Tuesday would be safe for you out of Depoe Bay?

Im a little worried about the swell period and the wind state. It starts off glassy but goes to ON.

Conditions are an individual thing, but that looks pretty good and I'd go out without too much worry.  Period is really long for the swell height. Wind is pretty moderate.  Keep an eye on wind chop coming up, but that's more uncomfortable than unsafe.
I do like to look at more than one source if I can.  They are often different and I like to get two of them to sort of agree.  For this day Surfline shows a bit larger swell with less period near Depoe.  Wind forecast is close.  A rougher day, but still okay for me.  Again for me, some people may not go with the Surfline forecast.
Look at windy too, usually a good resource

I just woke up and hadn't had coffee when I first read and responded to this thread, sorry!

I mostly use surf forecast, but as Keith says, it's wise to check a few sites. With surf forecast, make sure and hit the "surf details" tab, to see secondary and tertiary swell and period. It often paints a completely different picture for the day than the minimal info you see before hitting surf detail tab.

So yeah, at first glance, tue looks like  absolutely beautiful conditions, not nearly as nice after looking at the details, and when I first responded, I hadn't looked at the details. It's a doable day, but Keith is right on the money with his assessment.

If you haven't done Depoe before, a few things to know. First, make sure to bring your radio, and tell the coast guard on channel 80 when you are exiting and entering the bay. Even if they say it's clear, be alert for boats, and try n get thru the hole quickly.

Second, go straight west most of the way to the buoy, when leaving the bay, before turning north or south. There are shallow reefs, thick kelp, and sometimes unexpected waves on the sides of the channel, especially at low tide. Obviously when returning, also stay in the channel, going straight east from the vicinity of the buoy to the harbor entrance. I would not recommend fishing in the channel either, don't want to be in the way of boats coming and going.

PFD, dry suit, and safety flag always a must on the Oregon ocean.
Be safe, have fun!
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?
