also check thru the rest of this site to find more riggin how to's and tips.. we've got lots of them, tho at times they do seem to be a bit scattered.. i think thats' why Zee and B are workign on a small reorg of the site... especially adding things like  the drillin and cuttin forum... [tho, i've been known to be wrong before...  ]

I'm pretty sure I've read everything that can, does and will pertain to me. In the last 24 hours (short of an 9 hour nap) I've been reading all the current and back posts on the site and have learned a lot. I just can't wait to get out there with some of you guys and catch myself a Sturgeon! It's gonna be a while before I can do that because I have a million things to buy before I can travel with my kayak on my car, survive cold water immersion and have something to fish with. Ugh, I'll get there eventually.

Those guys take their Ocean Kayak sponsorship pretty seriously (look at the list of tournaments they attend and win).  Yet the kayaks posted are their 2005 models.  I wonder what they've done with tridents (assuming they got some).

Yeah, I think their site just needs to be updated. Maybe I'll email them cause I'd really like to see what they did with the Trident.

I love the automotive reflective pin striping on the Prowler 15 Blue (Sam's Sled).  Looks like a great way to increase visibility in low light conditions.

One thing to remember about reflective stuff on a yak is it's only going to work if there's light being shined on it. Since boats don't have headlights it'll only work in the low or magic twilight hours when the lights just at that right angle. Once it's dark you've gotta have lights for people to see you. I'm not knocking reflective tape at all, just don't want anyone to get a false sense of security. Having a light in your PFD at all times it pretty key. The Scotty Sea Light works really well.
