If you have an old reel and want to renew it or just want to give it the best drag that can be Alan Tani is the man. I have a few reels that Tani has done and they're buttah! He's put up a website that covers a lot of reels and has tutorials for many popular models. The DIY guy is gonna love his site! www.alantani.com

Alan Tani is the man.  Nice to see he's been able to consolodate his tutorials like this.

As for his popularity among West Coast anglers as a reel guru, notice that his site has more members than NWKA.
